KPK Checks Three Ministry of Home Affairs Officials in Cirebon Regent Bribery Case.
RakyatDigital. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined three officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs Directorate General of Regional Autonomy regarding the alleged bribery of Cirebon Regent, Sunjaya Purwadisastra.
KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said investigators examined three officials of the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy as witnesses in cases of alleged bribery and gratification in transfers, rotations and promotions and projects and permits in the Cirebon Regency Government. They were the Director of Institutional and Civil Service Facilitation of the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy of the Ministry of Home Affairs Makmur Marbun, Personal Secretary Director of Institutional and Civil Service Facilitation of the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy named Yunan, and the Section Head of Institutional and Human Resources Facilitation Directorate General Otda Ade Irma.
Prosperous, Yunan, and Ade were questioned for suspects in the Cirebon Regent inactive to Sunjaya Purwadisastra. Febri outlined that during the investigation the investigators explored the findings of information about the alleged flow of money to the officials of the Directorate General of Regional Autonomy at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
"Investigators clarified the witnesses (Makmur Marbun, Yunan, and Ade Irma) regarding the information on the flow of funds. How much is the alleged flow of funds, certainly cannot be delivered at this time," Febri said at the KPK Red and White Building, Jakarta, Wednesday (12/12) / 2018).
The former functional employee at the KPK Gratification Directorate revealed, on Tuesday (11/12) investigators had examined seven witnesses for Sunjaya suspects. They are Secretary of the Cirebon Warman District Government, PNS Cirebon District Manpower Office Abdullah, Cirebon Regent adjutant named Rizal Prihandoko, former Cirebon Regent aide Baihaki, Cirebon Regent driver Mulya alias Mul and Cirebon Regent Gardeners, Roup and Aak.
"For the seven witnesses the investigator clarified the alleged flow of funds received by the SUN suspect (Sunjaya) as the Cirebon Regent," he said.
Febri added that the investigation for the suspect of the Secretary of the PUPR Office of the Cirebon Regency Government, Gatot Rachmanto, was completed on Tuesday. At the same time, investigators handed over files and suspect Rachmanto to the Public Prosecutor (JPU). During the investigation process, there were around 27 witnesses for Rachmanto who were questioned by investigators.
"It is planned that the trial for GR (Rachmanto) will be held at the Bandung Corruption Court," he said.
When leaving the sterile room to undergo detention after OTT, Sunjaya Purwadisastra claimed to have never received a bribe. Even Rp100 million from the alleged giver Gatot Rachmanto who was accused by the KPK had never been received by Sunjaya.
"I have never received Rp100 million. It is alleged that I received Rp100 million, but until now I have never received the money," Sunjaya said in the lobby of the KPK Red and White Building on Friday (26/10).
From the capture operation (OTT) on Wednesday, the KPK team confiscated Rp. 385,965,000 in cash and proof of banking transactions in the form of deposit slips and transfers worth Rp. 4,625 billion.
