Ministry of Home Affairs Officials Become KPK Suspects, Corruption of IPDN Building Construction

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) appointed Dudy Jocom as the Commitment Making Officer of the Center for Financial Administration and Asset Management of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) in 2011 as a corruption suspect in the construction of two Institute of Domestic Government Buildings (IPDN).
The two IPDN buildings are located in South Sulawesi Province (in Gowa Regency) and North Sulawesi in the Ministry of Home Affairs FY 2011. After conducting the investigation process, the KPK has found preliminary evidence that there is sufficient suspicion of corruption committing acts to enrich themselves or others or a corporation which can be detrimental to the state's finance or the country's economy or with the aim of benefiting themselves or other people or a corporation, misusing authority, opportunity or means available to him because of a position or position that can harm the state's finance or state economy in relation to the procurement and implementation of construction work IPDN Campus Building.
"The KPK increased this case to the level of investigation. In line with the increasing status of case handling to investigation, the KPK determined Dudy Jocom as a suspect," KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata told a press conference at the KPK Building, Jakarta, Monday.
The KPK also set other suspects in this case for the Development of IPDN in South Sulawesi, Gowa Regency in 2011. The KPK determined the suspect Adi Wibowo (AW) Head of the Building Division or Head of Division I PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk.
As for the 2011 IPDN Development in North Sulawesi, the KPK determined Dono Purwoko (DP) Head of Construction Division VI of PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk as a suspect.
For his actions, DJ, AW and DP were allegedly violating Article 2 paragraph (1) or Article Law Number 31 of 1999 as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning Eradication of Corruption Crimes in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) to 1 Criminal Code.
